ABSTRACT OF PROBLEM

Provide  space in segment CVAH for users to apply their own mod-
ifications.


COMMENTS ON PROBLEM
___________________
Segment CVAH, which handles the  ZFMSG  functional  message,  is
coded  so  that  it is easy for customers to add their own func-
tional message indicators and functional support  console  (FSC)
routing  codes.   The only problem is that segment CVAH does not
contain enough space to add  very  many  additional  indicators.
Segment  CVAH  needs  to  be  split  into  more than one program
segment.


SOLUTION
________
The DISPLAY function of the ZFMSG functional  message  has  been
moved  out of segment CVAH and into segment CVAI.  Because these
two programs will now share all of  the  indicator  tables,  the
tables  have  been  moved out of segment CVAH and into the IFMSG
DSECT.  The IFMSG DSECT will now generate the  indicator  tables
in  both  CVAH and CVAI.   In addition to the above changes this
APAR adjusts inconsistencies  in  parsing  of  secondary  action
codes.   Segment CVAH allows secondary action codes to be speci-
fied with 1 to 4 characters or a blank.    Segment  CBPK,  which
handles  the  BPKDC macro, and segment CAPK, which processes the
ZSTIM functional message, have both been changed to process sec-
ondary action codes using the CVAH specification.
