ABSTRACT:
When using TPF Merge Tool, if the input file or directory textfield is
entered with a path to a valid file, clicking the corresponding browse
button shows the contents of the directory in which TPF Merge Tool is
installed, instead of the contents of the directory where the input
file is located.

COMMENTS:
When the browse button is clicked and the input file or directory
textfield is filled, TPF Merge Tool checks if the input text represents
a valid directory path. If the input text does not represent a valid
directory path, TPF Merge Tool displays the contents of the default
directory - the directory in which TPF Merge Tool is installed.
 

SOLUTION:
TPF Merge Tool is updated to use the following logic to determine which
directory to display when the browse button is clicked:
1) If the input text specifies a path to a valid directory, TPF Merge
Tool will display the contents of the input directory.
2) If the input text specifies a path to a valid file, TPF Merge Tool
will display the contents of the directory at which the input file
locates. 
3) If the input field specifies an invalid path, clicking the browse
button will display the default directory set in the Properties tab.
However, if the path set in the Properties tab is also invalid, TPF
Merge Tool will then display the directory in which TPF Merge Tool is
installed.
