TXSeries for Multiplatforms

The integrated CICS® SFS is a Virtual Storage Access Method (VSAM)-emulating, record-oriented file system that can provide indexed, relative and sequential access to file-based data. The SFS enables you to store fully recoverable file-based data that can be processed in a batch environment. TXSeries®, CICS Transaction Server and even non-CICS programs can share SFS files to help maximize the ability of these applications to interoperate in an enterprise environment.
