CICS Dynamic Scripting integrates Project Zero technology into CICS TS V4, for a robust environment for PHP and Groovy situational reports, dashboards, and web feeds.
CICS Dynamic Scripting helps clients meet the long tail of application demand and exploit business opportunities by rapidly creating and deploying situational applications which access CICS assets, while complying with key IT processes like manageability, scalability, and security.
- CICS Transaction Server Feature Pack for Dynamic Scripting embeds and integrates technology from Project Zero to open up CICS to make it accessible to more than four million PHP and Groovy developers, and reduce the time and cost of CICS application development
- CICS Dynamic Scripting provides a robust, managed environment for situational applications written in PHP and Groovy. The Feature Pack is built on scalable CICS TS V4 JVMServer technology that is easily distinguished from other production CICS workload, and where Zero Resource Model (ZRM) data can be managed by DB2 for z/OS
- CICS Dynamic Scripting allows you to quickly try out new business ideas, build productivity applications like reports, dashboards, and widgets, or application front-ends for IT and Line of Business users
- You can introduce new IT staff to CICS via PHP and port many existing unmanaged PHP and WebSphere sMash applications into CICS
- The CICS Dynamic Scripting Feature Pack is now available as an optional product extension to customers with CICS Transaction Server for z/OS, V4
