CICS Universal Client Specified Operating Environment includes the following hardware and software products. New versions and releases of software in the Specified Operating Environment may be supported after General Availability.

HP Itanium system supported by HP-UX
Linux Linux on System z, Linux on Intel, Linux on POWER Any of the following hardware supported by an operating system listed in the software requirements:

Intel® Pentium®, AMD Opteron or Intel EM64T supported by Linux (64-bit or 32-bit kernel support only)

64-bit IBM System p™ machine supported by Linux

IBM System z™ machine supported by Linux
Solaris Solaris V9 or Solaris V10 Any of the following hardware supported by an operating system listed in the software requirements:

32-bit or 64-it Sun SPARC system supported by Sun Solaris Operating Environment
Windows Microsoft Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista
