If the graphical image includes text that requires translation, then you need to set up a complementary Graphics Translation Process.

1. The graphical images must be created in a format that is acceptable to translation provider.
2. The graphical image is sent to the translation provider as part of the normal translation process. The following must be sent to them:
   1. All graphical images, including those that do not contain any text and those that do not need any translation.
   2. All screen captures.
   3. Source formats of the graphical images along with the required output formats
   4. Translation instructions

   The translation instructions should contain the following information:

   1. Identify the image files that need to be translated and the image files that should not be translated. Note: Screen captures should be sent to the translation provider but indicate that these images should not be translated.
   2. Identify the required output format(s) of the graphical images. For example, you may send a graphical image in Corel CDR format to your translation provider, and want both Corel CDR and CompuServe GIF formats back.
3. The translation provider, using the translation instructions, translates the text in the graphical image source file.
4. The positioning of the translated text in the graphical image is reviewed and adjusted as required.
5. The required output formats are created based upon the information in the translation instructions.Note: as part of the overall translation process, the translation provider will ensure the newly translated images are included in any translated printed materials or translated HTML as appropriate.
6. The translation provider returns the translated images.
