| Description | Unicode, growing, represented as UTF-16 as defined in the Unicode Standard and ISO/IEC 10646. Planes 3 through 13 are defined as empty. Data is big endian order. PUA of the BMP is IBM default in the last 256 code positions and generic UDCs in all other code positions. This was previously UCS-2 it has been migrated to UTF-16 due to product requirements to keep 1200 as the CCSID for UTF-16. |
