Michelle Peluso

Michelle Peluso is the Chief Marketing Officer of IBM. She oversees all global marketing and brand initiatives, strategy, and execution for the IBM company, including stewardship of thousands of marketing professionals located in hundreds of countries worldwide. Michelle brings to IBM deep, customeer-centric marketing and leadership experience as IBM accelerates itstransformation into a Cloud and Cognitive platform company.

Prior to IBM, Michelle was CEO of Gilt from 2013 until the sale of Gilt to Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) in February of 2016, and a Board of Directors member since 2009. While at Gilt, she oversaw the expansion of the business and the drive to profitability. Prior to Gilt, Michelle was the Global Consumer Chief Marketing and Internet Officer of Citigroup from 2009 until 2013. In that role she was responsible for the digital experience for Citi’s 100 million consumers globally as well as for Citi’s global consumer marketing strategy and execution. She also led Citi’s effort to bring CitiBike to New York City.

Prior to Citigroup, Michelle was the CEO of Travelocity from 2002 to 2009. She joined Travelocity following the company’s acquisition of Site59, a travel site she created and launched in 1999 as CEO.

Michelle wasa White House Fellow and Senior Advisor to Labor Secretary Alexis Herman and worked as a case leader for The Boston Consulting Group in New York and London. She serves on the Board of Directors for NIKE, Inc., nonprofit TechnoServe, and Tech:NYC.She also is a Strategic Advisor at Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), a Palo-Alto based venture capital firm that has backed companies like Facebook, Spotify, Netflix, and Zillow.

Michelle received an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Pembroke College at Oxford University, where she was a Thoroun Scholar, and her BA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. She lives in Tribeca with her husband and two children.

Peter Brook is Senior Director of Omnichannel Solutions for the adidas Group, leading a team focused on delivering global solutions that enable market teams to deliver a premium, seamless experience for consumers across all global markets and channels.

Peter has been with the adidas Group in Germany for 3 years and in this time has focussed on helping the organisation to embrace omnichannel, partnering closely with teams in markets, IT and Supply Chain to define and deliver a unified omnichannel strategy for consumers.

Peter moved from Australia to Germany in 2014 with his wife, and is an avid distance runner and gamer. His wife Kathleen recently opened a café in Nuremberg, so he has also recently discovered a passion for spending his weekends clearing tables and being a handyman.

Ginni Rometty

Ginni Rometty began her career with IBM in 1981 in Detroit. Since then she has held a series of leadership positions, most recently as senior vice president and group executive, IBM sales, marketing, and strategy. Earlier she served as senior vice president, IBM Global Business Services, where she led the successful integration of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting.

This acquisition was the largest in professional services history, creating a global team of more than 100,000 business consultants and services experts. Mrs. Rometty serves on the Council on Foreign Relations, the board of trustees of Northwestern University, and the board of overseers and board of managers of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with high honors, in computer science and electrical engineering from Northwestern University. IBM is a cognitive solutions and cloud platform company that leverages the power of innovation, data and expertise to improve business and society.

Harriet Green

Harriet Green OBE is a global executive who has led business transformations on four continents, with a proven track record for developing and implementing strategies for profitable growth and increasing shareholder value in global technology, logistics, travel and consumer sectors. Harriet received her OBE for services to electronics in 2010.

Harriet is currently General Manager of Watson Customer Engagement, Watson Internet of Things and Education at IBM driving growth in IBM’s high priority and key growth initiatives. Across these business units, Harriet is helping usher in a new era of cognitive business, helping “clients unlock value in new insights” from the massive amount of data they generate each day.

Previously she led the successful global transformation and rebranding of the Thomas Cook Group, the oldest name in leisure travel with 173 year history. Under her leadership the market capitalisation of the business increased from £150 million to over £2 billion in under two years; the share price rose by 900%; the business raised £1.6 billion for recapitalisation; implemented a focussed strategy for profitable growth; delivered 9 consistent quarters of profitable growth; developed a true omni-channel strategy and drove the digitisation of the business; saw employee engagement increase by 4% year on year and put the customer experience and new product development back at the heart of the business.

Before joining Thomas Cook, Harriet was the CEO of FTSE 250 company Premier Farnell Plc from April 2006 to July 2012. Premier Farnell is a global distributor of technology products and solutions for electronic system design, maintenance and repair in Europe, the Americas, and Asia Pacific, with global sales of £973 million and operating profit of £123 million. Premier Farnell works with over 3,500 suppliers, supplying 600K products, and employs 4,500 employees in 28 countries. Under Harriet’s leadership the company grew its business in China and India and established the web as a major sales channel, whilst developing an industry leading online community.

Prior to Premier Farnell, Harriet was senior vice president of Arrow Electronics Inc., a global provider of products, services, and solutions to users of electronic components and enterprise computing solutions, and ran business in Europe, Africa and Asia –latterly as the President of Arrow Asia/Pacific. In other roles she was also responsible for global strategy, investor relations, worldwide marketing and supplier management for Arrow's components and computer products businesses. Arrow has annual sales of $21.4 billion and employs 16,500 employees in 58 countries.

Prior to Arrow Electronics, she was managing director of the Macro Group, an electronic components distributor, which was part of the Diploma plc Group.

Harriet is also a non-executive director of FTSE 100 BAE Systems plc, a developer of defense and aerospace systems, with sales of 18.2 billion in 2013.

In June 2016, Harriet won the Women in Technology Institute (WITI) award and was inducted into the Women in Technology Hall of Fame. She was recognized as the UK Business leader of the Year and Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year for 2014, also ranked 23rd in the Fortune Top Global Businesspeople list. She has a Degree in Medieval History from London University (Kings College). Harriet is a voracious reader, who trains daily –particularly enjoying running, cycling, and yoga.

She has also served two parliamentary terms as a member of the U.K. Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Group, and is a founder of the not- for-profit, One-Voice Organisation.

Most recently, Harriet has become a member of King’s College London to serve on their new Business School Advisory Group, focused on new technology and business ethics.

As a tech expert, Katie Linendoll spends as much time on her computers as she does in the field.

Whether she’s challenging IBM supercomputer/ know-it-all Watson to a game of Jeopardy!, flying over the Pacific Ocean wearing a jetpack or on a deep sea diving trip to spear the eco-destructive lionfish (custom underwater cameras in hand), it’s all in a day’s work for technology expert, Emmy Award winning TV personality and writer Katie Linendoll.

Known for her quirky expertise and lithium-ion-like energy, Linendoll is one of the most in-demand tech experts in the country. She is best known for her role as tech contributor on the TODAY Show, but can be found contributing to other outlets such as Fox and Friends, CBS News, CNN, Shape Magazine, Oprah.com, and E! She has written over 60 pieces for ESPN on sports tech.

Linendoll has been tech-minded since childhood and earned her networking certificates before graduating high school. She received her bachelor’s degree in information technology new media from Rochester Institute of Technology, and went on to launch her professional career with ESPN. At age 22, she won an Emmy Award for her work on SportsCenter. She moved on, and a few years later, received another Emmy nomination as the tech host of A&E's We Mean Business.

In 2015, Linendoll was named a visionary in Silicon Valley during the 18th Annual SVForum Visionary Awards. In years past, that distinction has gone to many great visionaries such as Bill Gates, Elon Musk and Tim Draper. You will see launched one of the top tech podcasts, Katie.Show, where every week she shares first looks in technology and science and interviews the most notable minds in the industry. 

She also travels the world delivering keynote speeches and dynamic presentations on innovations in technology; hosting and moderating various panels and presentations; and working with experts and celebrities—from top chefs to world-class innovators—to share their messages, and her own. She is also a dynamic host/MC and panel moderator. Linendoll is as comfortable interviewing celebrities, CEOs and sports stars as she is participating in her own real-life adventures.

Linendoll introduced Google Glass to the NFL via the St. Louis Rams (a piece that went viral), detoxed (and survived!) in digital rehab, won the Guinness World Record for performing the most “high fives” in 60 seconds and shared a stage with Lady Gaga—all in the name of tech.

When she’s not working, Linendoll is a fitness obsessive and a committed fan of WWE. She serves on the board of the Batcole Foundation, which supports research on pediatric cancer.
