Ginni Rometty began her career with IBM in 1981 in Detroit. Since then she has held a series of leadership positions, most recently as senior vice president and group executive, IBM sales, marketing, and strategy. Earlier she served as senior vice president, IBM Global Business Services, where she led the successful integration of PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting.

This acquisition was the largest in professional services history, creating a global team of more than 100,000 business consultants and services experts. Mrs. Rometty serves on the Council on Foreign Relations, the board of trustees of Northwestern University, and the board of overseers and board of managers of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with high honors, in computer science and electrical engineering from Northwestern University. IBM is a cognitive solutions and cloud platform company that leverages the power of innovation, data and expertise to improve business and society.

Mindy Grossman is Chief Executive Officer & Director of HSN, Inc. (NASDAQ: HSNI) and a member of the company’s Board of Directors. She oversees a $4 billion direct to consumer retail portfolio that includes HSN and the Cornerstone portfolio of home and family lifestyle brands.

During her tenure she has positioned HSNi as a leader in boundaryless retail, offering customers a seamless shopping experience across multiple channels – television, catalogue, online and mobile. Over half of the company’s revenue is now generated through digital commerce.

A 38-year veteran of the retail and apparel industries, Mindy joined IAC, HSNi’s former parent company, in 2006 as CEO of IAC Retail. In 2008, she took the company public and became the CEO of HSNi. Since then she has transformed HSN into a lifestyle network offering an exciting array of products, personalities and experiences designed to engage, inform and entertain. She has pioneered visionary, industry-changing innovations such as Shop by Remote, HSN Arcade and HSN Live and formed unique partnerships with brands such as Disney, Ford and Universal. She has also reshaped the Cornerstone Brands portfolio by spearheading the digital transformation of the catalogue business.

Prior to joining IAC, she served as a Global Vice President at Nike, Inc., overseeing its $4 billion apparel business. At Nike, she led the development and growth of the global women's business and served as co-chair of Nike’s Women's Leadership Council. Earlier career highlights include serving as President and CEO of Polo Jeans Company, Vice President of New Business Development at Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation, President of Chaps Ralph Lauren, and Senior Vice President of Menswear for Warnaco, Inc. She also held senior positions at Tommy Hilfiger and Oxford Industries.

In 2014, Mindy was recognized as one of Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business and Fortune’s Business Person of the Year. In 2013, Forbes magazine named Mindy one of the world’s 100 most powerful women, an honor she has received three times. In 2011, she was named Corporate Innovator of the Year at the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year® Florida Awards. In both 2010 and 2011, Mindy was ranked by the Financial Times as one of the top 50 women in world business.

Mindy serves as Chairman of the National Retail Federation Board of Directors. She also serves as Vice Chairman for The U.S. Fund for UNICEF and is a member of the Board of Directors of Bloomin' Brands. Additionally, Mindy is a member of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Department’s Digital Economy Board of Advisors.

Mr. Kuruvilla has 14 years of operational and general management experience and 6 years of cross-functional consulting experience working with Board Members, CEOs and CXOs of a variety of Tata companies. Prior to his current role as CDO he was COO at Tata Quality Management Services. Prior to that, he was EVP and COO at Tata Business Support Services - a company that he set up from scratch and scaled to 5000+ employees. He is a graduate from the College of Agriculture and has an MBA from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade.

Michelle Peluso

Michelle Peluso is the Chief Marketing Officer of IBM. She oversees all global marketing and brand initiatives, strategy, and execution for the IBM company, including stewardship of thousands of marketing professionals located in hundreds of countries worldwide. Michelle brings to IBM deep, customeer-centric marketing and leadership experience as IBM accelerates itstransformation into a Cloud and Cognitive platform company.

Prior to IBM, Michelle was CEO of Gilt from 2013 until the sale of Gilt to Hudson's Bay Company (HBC) in February of 2016, and a Board of Directors member since 2009. While at Gilt, she oversaw the expansion of the business and the drive to profitability. Prior to Gilt, Michelle was the Global Consumer Chief Marketing and Internet Officer of Citigroup from 2009 until 2013. In that role she was responsible for the digital experience for Citi’s 100 million consumers globally as well as for Citi’s global consumer marketing strategy and execution. She also led Citi’s effort to bring CitiBike to New York City.

Prior to Citigroup, Michelle was the CEO of Travelocity from 2002 to 2009. She joined Travelocity following the company’s acquisition of Site59, a travel site she created and launched in 1999 as CEO.

Michelle wasa White House Fellow and Senior Advisor to Labor Secretary Alexis Herman and worked as a case leader for The Boston Consulting Group in New York and London. She serves on the Board of Directors for NIKE, Inc., nonprofit TechnoServe, and Tech:NYC.She also is a Strategic Advisor at Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV), a Palo-Alto based venture capital firm that has backed companies like Facebook, Spotify, Netflix, and Zillow.

Michelle received an MA in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from Pembroke College at Oxford University, where she was a Thoroun Scholar, and her BA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business. She lives in Tribeca with her husband and two children.

Cathy Hotka

Principal, Cathy Hotka & Associates, LLC

Cathy Hotka knows most of the retail chief information officers in North America, and creates opportunities for senior retail leaders to network with one another. Her firm creates networking events, dinner discussions, summits, and executive events that bring retail CIOs together, and is retail’s go-to player when technology companies need marketing strategies for the retail industry. Clients have included nearly all the largest technology companies pursuing the American market.

She created the CIO Council for the National Retail Federation, consulted to the Retail Industry Leaders Association, and staffed the American Petroleum Institute’s IT Committee and its subcommittees, after six years in the White House and on Capitol Hill. She has extensive experience in working with senior-level decision-makers. She is a Computerworld Premier 100 winner, is a Wharton School of Business and Infosys Transformation Award qualifier, and serves on the Advisory Board of the Knowledge@Wharton retail conferences.

Cathy serves on the Board of Trustees of the Retail Orphan Initiative. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the Catholic University of America and resides in Washington, DC with her family.

Kareem Yusef is Vice President of Offering Management & Development for IBM Watson Customer Engagement, a business unit focused on delivering solutions that enable business leaders in Marketing, Selling & Merchandising, and Supply Chain disciplines to leverage data, analytics and cloud to build deeper, more valuable engagements with their customers, partners and suppliers. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of offering management, design, development and delivery for the solution portfolio.

Kareem has been with IBM for 17 years and has held leadership positions in a variety of disciplines across IBM. These have included Software Development, SaaS Operations, Product/Offering Management, Mergers & Acquisitions and Field Technical Sales.

Kareem has a Ph.D from the University of Leeds, focused on Decision Support Systems for Civil Engineering construction. He maintains an active interest in all things technical, with a particular interest in digital media and programming languages. He is the author of “Enterprise Messaging Using JMS and IBM WebSphere”, and is also a TED Speaker.

Jason Falls

Jason Falls is one of the most widely read and respected voices in the digital marketing and social media industries. A social listening and analytics innovator, he spends much of his time analyzing online conversations for consumer insights for clients of the Conversation Research Institute and Elasticity, a full service digital firm where he serves as a strategy advisor.

Falls shares his no nonsense ideas regularly at, and He is also a regular contributor to the IBM THINK project. He loves Louisville, sports and bourbon.

Harriet Green

Harriet Green

General Manager, Watson Internet of Things, Customer Engagement & Education, IBM

Harriet Green OBE is a global executive who has led business transformations on four continents, with a proven track record for developing and implementing strategies for profitable growth and increasing shareholder value in global technology, logistics, travel and consumer sectors. Harriet received her OBE for services to electronics in 2010.

Harriet is currently General Manager of Watson Customer Engagement, Watson Internet of Things and Education at IBM driving growth in IBM’s high priority and key growth initiatives. Across these business units, Harriet is helping usher in a new era of cognitive business, helping “clients unlock value in new insights” from the massive amount of data they generate each day.

Previously she led the successful global transformation and rebranding of the Thomas Cook Group, the oldest name in leisure travel with 173 year history. Under her leadership the market capitalisation of the business increased from £150 million to over £2 billion in under two years; the share price rose by 900%; the business raised £1.6 billion for recapitalisation; implemented a focussed strategy for profitable growth; delivered 9 consistent quarters of profitable growth; developed a true omni-channel strategy and drove the digitisation of the business; saw employee engagement increase by 4% year on year and put the customer experience and new product development back at the heart of the business.

Before joining Thomas Cook, Harriet was the CEO of FTSE 250 company Premier Farnell Plc from April 2006 to July 2012. Premier Farnell is a global distributor of technology products and solutions for electronic system design, maintenance and repair in Europe, the Americas, and Asia Pacific, with global sales of £973 million and operating profit of £123 million. Premier Farnell works with over 3,500 suppliers, supplying 600K products, and employs 4,500 employees in 28 countries. Under Harriet’s leadership the company grew its business in China and India and established the web as a major sales channel, whilst developing an industry leading online community.

Prior to Premier Farnell, Harriet was senior vice president of Arrow Electronics Inc., a global provider of products, services, and solutions to users of electronic components and enterprise computing solutions, and ran business in Europe, Africa and Asia –latterly as the President of Arrow Asia/Pacific. In other roles she was also responsible for global strategy, investor relations, worldwide marketing and supplier management for Arrow's components and computer products businesses. Arrow has annual sales of $21.4 billion and employs 16,500 employees in 58 countries.

Prior to Arrow Electronics, she was managing director of the Macro Group, an electronic components distributor, which was part of the Diploma plc Group.

Harriet is also a non-executive director of FTSE 100 BAE Systems plc, a developer of defense and aerospace systems, with sales of 18.2 billion in 2013.

In June 2016, Harriet won the Women in Technology Institute (WITI) award and was inducted into the Women in Technology Hall of Fame. She was recognized as the UK Business leader of the Year and Veuve Clicquot Business Woman of the Year for 2014, also ranked 23rd in the Fortune Top Global Businesspeople list. She has a Degree in Medieval History from London University (Kings College). Harriet is a voracious reader, who trains daily –particularly enjoying running, cycling, and yoga.

She has also served two parliamentary terms as a member of the U.K. Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Group, and is a founder of the not- for-profit, One-Voice Organisation.

Most recently, Harriet has become a member of King’s College London to serve on their new Business School Advisory Group, focused on new technology and business ethics.
