Iwan Winoto is a solution architect in IBM's Emerging Internet Technologies group and currently focuses on the use of Web 2.0 technologies in the enterprise. Iwan works with IBM customers and partners to implement emerging internet technologies such as social software, mashups, virtual worlds and mobile web in a way that brings business value to the enterprise.
After graduating from Swinburne University of Technology (http://www.swinburne.edu.au) in Melbourne, Australia in 1990 with a Bachelor Degree of Electronic Engineering, Iwan worked in enterprise application development for large financial corporations in Australia and Switzerland. In 2000, he joined IBM Australia as a technical specialist for WebSphere Application Server and Process Server before moving to the emerging technology area.
Prior to IBM, Iwan gained experience in software application development specialising in enterprise systems integration using OO and service oriented techniques. He has held various positions including development, project management, architect and consultant.
