Since joining IBM in 2000, Ben has worked in numerous roles that combine technical skills and business insight. Ben began his career working closely with Lotus development on the activities associated with deploying, maintaining, and improving the Domino infrastructure that supports all of IBM's employees worldwide. During this time, Ben received US patent #7552383, a method for avoiding replication conflicts in Lotus Notes applications. He then moved to IBM Global Financing where he helped modernize the systems that run IGF's business. His last role before coming over to the jStart team was leading the requirements, maintenance, support, and deployments of a new tool for IGF sellers that consolidates all legacy systems into a simple, web-based tool. He was also responsible for designing and deploying the majority of IGF's Cognos reporting capabilities.
Ben currently lives in Scarsdale, New York with his wife and twin sons.
