One of the interesting engagements the jStart team has been involved with is a project in which LanguageWare™, a technology originally developed in IBM Research and now adjusting to its new home in IBM's Information Management. It is being utilized to enhance and improve how containers are shipped worldwide. By understanding the shipping manifests, regardless of language or notation, jStart is helping an international shipping company get its arms around the logistics of managing an incredible amount of data...and making sense of it all.
