jStart selected to be part of IBM's Watson commercialization effort By: Spence

How will IBM commercialize it's Watson technology? That question has been making the rounds of the internet, with press, pundits, and technologists since Watson's debut on Jeopardy. Would Big Blue even commercialize Watson? The anwser to the last question is a most certain "yes". And how will IBM commercialize Watson? Why not ask the jStart team--the team has recently been selected to be a part of that effort--providing some of the initial client Watson engagements for IBM.

The team is excited to be diving into Watson--and is working closely with the researchers responsible for Watson, with IBM product and technology groups, with IBM marketing and communications and public relations groups, as well, of course, as our clients. The team has already started its commercialization efforts with initial discussions with customers and clients about how Watson might be useful for them. Interested? let us know.
