This skill level prepares you to identify opportunities for selling the Information Management portfolio and to perform initial qualification.
To successfully complete this level, you should take the Information Management 101 course, “How to Establish an Information Agenda Strategy,” in the Know Your IBM (KYI) program.

This skill level qualifies you to compete for and win sales with the Information Management portfolio.
To successfully complete this level, you should take the Information Management 201 course: Selling IBM Information On Demand Solutions
This course provides in-depth training for selling the Information Management portfolio. It is the prerequisite for the IBM Information Management Solution Sales Mastery test.
Upon completion of skill levels 2 and 3, you are recognized as an Information On Demand specialist, enabling your company to qualify for the Information On Demand Specialty program. Upon qualifying for this Specialty, your company becomes part of a select business community and receives quick, easy access to the latest innovative programs and technology for marketing and selling IBM Information On Demand solutions.

Each bootcamp includes a FREE Technical Mastery Test to help partner meet criteria in various IBM PartnerWorld® programs including Software Value Incentive, Software ValueNet®, and Growth Through Skills where applicable to the product involved.

The Know Your IBM (KYI) program rewards IBM Business Partners who improve their knowledge of IBM Information Management software and who make a personal commitment to help their customers understand, purchase and deploy these products.
The KYI program offers several learn-sell-earn training modules to help you discover new sales opportunities for IBM Information Management software.
After completing each module, you'll earn 50 KYI points that can be accumulated and redeemed for great gifts and merchandise. Many KYI participants are able to earn points in other ways too, such as by meeting sales targets.

The IBM Learner Portal for Information Management brings together learning and informational content to give you access to courseware and related resources in one place. The portal will be updated frequently with new courses, replays and collateral, so visit often for the latest in e-learning assets. All Information Management e-learning courses will now be hosted exclusively on the IBM Learner Portal for Information Management.
