Overview
IBM® Informix® Enterprise Gateway Manager is an SQL-based gateway that allows your Informix tools, applications, and databases to interoperate with non-Informix databases.
This gateway makes the underlying target DBMS appear to both client and server applications as an instance of Informix. It provides:
Distributed joins with Informix, Oracle, and Sybase data in a single SQL statement.
Security for only authorized users.
Unrestricted connection support.
Scrolling cursor support.
Operating system support for: AIX, HP-UX, Linux, Solaris, Windows NT, and Windows XP.
