With Informix® Video Foundation DataBlade, you can incorporate video servers, external control devices, compression codecs, cataloging tools and the like into complete database management applications with IBM Informix.
Extends the capabilities of Informix to manage video content and metadata or information about the content.
Stores metadata elements in the database, while allowing the actual video content to be maintained on disk, video tape, video server, or other external storage devices.
Provides a storage capability that addresses the "analog reality" of many video production facilities.
Runs on AIX, HP-UX, Linux and Windows.
