Star-power entertainment at IOD features Martin Short, concerts by musical groups Earth, Wind and Fire and the Village People, and a Halloween party and barbeque complete with fireworks on Tuesday night. Everything happens right at the beautiful Mandalay Bay Resort. For a brief getaway, there are plenty of things to do around town and out of town -– Vegas is a short distance from Lake Mead and Hoover Dam, Death Valley, Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon, and Grand Canyon.
