Get ready for these new exams by taking the prerequisite fundamentals exam and their version 9 counterparts. Prepare for the exams by taking a $10 USD online practice assessment exam. Candidates, who purchase, take and PASS an eligible DB2 Online Assessment Exam between April 24, 2009 and June 30, 2009, will receive a 50% off certification voucher good for the corresponding exam. That's up to $100 USD savings on each exam!
Candidates who utilize this offer and pass the actual DB2 9 DBA and/or the Application Developer Exam will receive a FREE BONUS voucher good toward the NEW DB2 9.7 version of the exam(s) launching in July and August of 2009. That is up to $200 USD savings on each exam!
Eligible exams
Bonus voucher
Candidates qualify for a FREE bonus voucher by taking and passing both the assessment and the actual exam for DB2 9 Application Developer and/or DB2 9 DBA for Linux, UNIX and Windows in the offering period. Bonus vouchers will be issued within five working days via email automatically upon candidates meeting the requirements. Bonus vouchers must be redeemed by September 30, 2009.

- Exam 000-543: DB2 9.7 Application Developer (due - August 2009)
Qualification
Candidates who purchase, take and PASS an eligible DB2 Online Assessment Exam through Prometric Testing will receive a 50% off voucher good toward the purchase of the corresponding exam at the IBM Authorized Testing Provider, Prometric. In order to receive their voucher, candidates must email the Information Management Certification Program Manager after passing the Online Assessment Exam.

Redemption
Candidates will receive their vouchers via email within 5 days after meeting the qualifications. Vouchers must be redeemed during the corresponding redemption period or they will expire.
Redemption period for 50% off vouchers:
April 24, 2009 - June 30, 2009 for vouchers earned during the offering period.
Redemption period for free bonus vouchers:
July 1, 2009 - September 30, 2009 for vouchers earned during the offering period.
Terms and conditions
- Assessment tests are delivered by the Prometric Web-based test delivery tool.
- Tests may be retaken multiple times to qualify for a voucher.
- Tests cost $10 USD per attempt. VISA, Master Card and American Express credit cards are accepted, and entered directly into the Prometric system.
- Candidates must email the Information Management Certification Program Manager to receive a voucher.
- Only one discount voucher will be issued per person per exam.
- Only one bonus voucher will be issued per person per exam.
- Voucher numbers are not transferable to another person, may not be redeemed for cash, credit, or refund, may not be combined with any other offer and may not be used for any other exam than the one for which it is issued.
- IBM is not responsible for any expenses a candidate incurs in preparation for the assessment test(s) and/or actual test(s), and for travel to an authorized testing center.
