With over 20 years of experience as an instructor and course developer, Bob has built the right set of skills to help deepen his students’ knowledge on IBM DB2 and Informix. As one of the first IBM instructors to pilot a new approach to online eLearning called Instructor-Led Online (ILO), Bob brings new and exciting learning formats to students in his classroom. With his experience and concrete grasp of DB2 and Informix, he models every course to ease students into becoming experts at managing database environments.

A self-confessed teacher at heart, Shirley has over twenty-five years of teaching experience at the university level and with IBM Training. With seven years at IBM teaching and consulting, Shirley knows DB2 for z/OS. She continues to broaden her teaching specialties including Informix and Content Manager on Demand.

With her rich experience as both a course developer and an instructor, Naomi has developed the right mix of skills and experience to help her students master the art of DB2. Crafting the course curriculum then teaching it gives Naomi an edge in the classroom to accelerate student learning.

Warren’s technical experience spans more than 25 years and brings to each classroom lecture a wealth of skills, knowledge, and know how. As both an IBM instructor and course developer, Warren utilizes his dual role to consistently improve course content. Warren’s passion for helping others is reflected in his classroom as he teaches with a sociable, thought provoking approach that encourages his students to explore database environments with new insight.

With twenty-three years of industry and IBM experience as an instructor, database administrator, programmer analyst, and developer, Melanie knows DB2 inside and out. Her hands-on experiences with customers and extensive teaching background enables Melanie’s students to take the leap beyond theoretical knowledge to understanding and addressing real-world database challenges.

John has been helping his students discover a world of possibilities through training for over fifteen years. His passion for teaching and expertise in Informix has motivated countless students, allowing them to experience the wonders of learning.His extensive experience allows him to understand the products from both an engineering perspective and an end-user perspective. This allows him to better pass on knowledge that is more relevant to his students.
