About the Program
Information Management Professional Certification is both a journey and a destination. It's a business solution. A way for skilled IT professionals to demonstrate their expertise to the world. It validates your skills and demonstrates your proficiency in the latest IBM technology and solutions.
Preparation
Once you select the certification you would like to pursue and review the certification description. You may already be prepared to take the required exam(s), based on previous education, experience, or your current job skills. However, to make the most of your expertise, you may want to take advantage of the preparation resources available to help you be successful on exam day. Many of these resources are even available at no charge to you!
Taking an Exam
After you select your exam(s), you must register to take the exam at an authorized testing center. Information Management Certification Exams are offered exclusively through our test delivery vendor Prometric. Simply visit the Prometric Web site to locate an Authorized Prometric Test Center near you, and register for the exam. Before registering for the test, be prepared to provide the following information:
- Name (exactly as you want it to appear on your certification certificate)
- Candidate / Testing Identification number (If this is your first time to register for a certification exam, a number will be assigned.)
- Phone/Fax number
- Mailing address /Billing address (if needed)
- Test number
- Method of payment
- Company name
