DB2 Object Comparison Tool helps you to compare and synchronize different DB2 object while maintaining system availability and object integrity.

An easy-to-use ISPF front end that allows you to specify the objects for comparison
A DB2 catalog extract function that pulls object definitions from the catalog into a version file to support the comparison process
A GEN function which, in addition to extracting DDL, can also generate statements for the object authorizations and the catalog statistics
A batch compare feature that compares two version files, produces reports describing any of the object differences, and generates the information needed to apply the changes
A batch job generator that provides all the necessary steps to apply the changes to the target
Support for masking and ignore files, which address intentional differences and/or naming conventions, allow you to deal with only net changes between objects
