Mina Song is a senior student at Ewha Women’s University in South Korea. Mina introduced DB2 to her professor to use it in their database class. After she attended a DB2 training session at Myungji University, she organized a DB2 study group with other students and conducted this group every 2 weeks which prepared them for Exam 730. With this preparation, Mina and other students attained the DB2 9 Fundamentals certification. Mina has excellent programming skills, especially in the area of mobile application development and networking. She is proficient in C/C++ and Java.

The DB2 User Community & KLNCIT DB2 User Group in Madurai, India is without a doubt the largest university community and user group in India boasting 240 members. The community and group are led by two DB2 Student Ambassadors from K.L.N College of Information Technology: T.R.Raghuveer Babu, and G.S.Pradeep Kumar. Recently, the community and group were inagurated on a ceremony held on September 24th, 2008. Plans for the community and group are to increase the number of members in the south of India by recruiting more DB2 Student Ambassadors. DB2 Express-C t-shirts and DB2 on Campus DVDs have been sent to them for promotional activities. Congratulations!
