DB2 Data Links Manager
Future Datalinks support will vary by platform.
- For DLFS/DLFM on AIX, our plans are to provide an offering, which DataLinks customers could choose to purchase, for continued Data Links support, with DB2 Version 8.2, until at least 2010.
- As part of this offering, IBM will provide the required updates to the Version 8.2 and DataLinks code in order to provide customers with at least one completely supported stack, including the operating system, DataLinks and DB2. IBM Information Management will assess alternative technologies to provide the required business solutions for our DataLinks customers, between now and 2010, and provide alternatives for our customers, either through IBM technology or partnerships with other companies.
- For DLFS/DLFM on other platforms our plans are to support the offering until the end of support for DB2 Version 8.2 which is no sooner than 09/2010. IBM Information Management will assess alternative technologies to provide the required business solutions for our DataLinks customers and provide alternatives for our customers, either through IBM technology or partnerships with other companies.
