Overview
IBM's ECM User Association, UserNet, establishes a link between IBM and its customers. Its mission is to facilitate effective two-way communication between UserNet members and IBM ECM management, presenting opportunities to express issues regarding products and services, through an active exchange of ideas and solutions.
With chapters worldwide, IBM ECM user groups provide discussion boards, newsletters, local and regional seminars, the annual Information On Demand conference and the Innovation Awards. These awards highlight new and imaginative ways IBM technology is applied to real business challenges.
UserNet has two governing bodies, the Americas ECM UserNet Board of Directors representing the Americas and Asia Pacific, and the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) UserNet Board of Directors representing EMEA.
The elected UserNet Board represents user interests to IBM ECM senior management and works with them to identify and resolve any product and service-related issues.
North American ECM Community
The new North American ECM Community serves as a collaboration point for users of all IBM ECM products. The community is open to all participants including including end users of the systems, project managers, technology administrators, third-party solution providers, integrators, as well as developers.
