IBM® FileNet® Image Manager Active Edition lets FileNet Image Services users add seamless extension to and federation with IBM FileNet Content Manager.

IBM FileNet Image Services users can continue to use existing Image Services applications and repositories, while extending their ECM capabilities with IBM FileNet Content Manager.

• IBM FileNet Image Manager Active Edition is a combination of Image Services and IBM FileNet Content Manager.
• In addition to being able to manage immense volumes of document images with FileNet Image Services, users can now add FileNet Content Manager solutions, including FileNet Business Process Manager, FileNet Records Manager, FileNet Connectors for Sharepoint, and many more.
• By extending Image Services with Image Manager Active Edition, users can also take advantage of new partner applications based on IBM FileNet Content Manager, including Digital Asset Management.
• Content managed inside Image Services can be accessed, processed and edited from within FileNet Content Manager applications, meaning that your investment in Image Services is fully protected.
