Content Integrator provides bidirectional, real-time federated access to disparate content repositories.

Quickly develop federated customer service, compliance, and BPM applications and leverage content from multiple repositories. Out-of-the-box connectors, federation, and developer services help reduce application development and cost.

Improves customer service by simplifying application development and integration with in-house applications. It leverages out-of-the-box connectors to provide federated access to multiple content management repositories where customer content is held.
Content Integrator can be used by itself for integrated access to disparate repositories or in combination with the Federation feature of FileNet® Content Manager

Content Integrator is bundled with restricted license terms in Content Manager (CM), CM OnDemand, FileNet Content Manager, FileNet IMAE, and FileNet Image Services. If used for access to any other repositories, regular license fees apply.
Remote EJB connector deployment increases flexibility for connector deployment.
