Empowering Business Partners
Conference attendees were welcomed into the Mandalay Bay Resort Hotel and Convention Center for IBM's premier information management event.
The week began with Business Partner Business Development Day where more 1,200 attendees arrived early to get a head start. Six tracks and 28 sessions were offered in addition to an IBM executive-led General Session to rally partners around maximizing performance and solidifying how we go to market together. Dr. Ambuj Goyal encouraged business partners to take the lead in helping clients formulate an information agenda strategy.
EXPO Grand Opening Reception
The EXPO Grand Opening Reception, serving as the first major event for all attendees, took place Sunday evening - over 250 sponsors and exhibitors from around the globe were present. Community Receptions followed the opening event, hosted by the IBM Information Management segments. All receptions offered an early opportunity to network with subject matter experts, partners, and customers.
IBM Information Management Distinguished Achievement Awards
Finally, the highlight of the day was IBM’s Information Management Distinguished Achievement Awards - distributed to IBM Business Partners from each geography in recognition of their extraordinary collaboration, growth, and success with IBM over the past year.
