This work package is a comprehensive review of your documented business requirements and proposed IBM Cognos TM1 application design. This service can ensure your proposed design will accommodate your business requirements and conform to Cognos Proven Practices.

How it Works
A Cognos application architect will:

• Review documented business requirements and technical design
• Validate assumptions and internal processes with business stakeholders
• Interview identified end users to ensure the proposed design will meet their business needs
• Understand data flow, data integration, and discuss IT requirements through meetings with key IT stakeholders
• Gain insight into the overall strategy and how the proposed application will add business value through meetings with executive sponsors

Deliverables
Cognos Professional Services provides a TM1 architect to:

• Deliver a comprehensive document outlining the scope of work, items, and reviews
• Provide guidance on suggested changes
• Work with your application development team to apply the changes to the design
• Provide a risk assessment related to the delivery timeline, offer opportunities to minimize the risk, and highlight opportunities to enhance the application in future phases.

Once the application has been built and validated through the UAT process, the application architect will work with your development team:

• To resolve any issues or gaps identified during the user acceptance phase

Performance Optimization Health Check Work Package 

The IBM Cognos TM1 Performance Optimization Health Check enables you to get the most from your IBM Cognos TM1 implementation by providing a comprehensive post-implementation review. The service includes a detailed review of the application design as it relates to proven practices and ensures the IBM Cognos TM1 application is optimized for current releases of complementary applications, and identifies opportunities to streamline maintenance and optimize application performance.

How it Works

• Review you data integration and dimension governance along with your administration and maintenance management practices

• Connect with your subject matter experts to integrate IBM Cognos TM1 into your environment

Deliverables
The Cognos consultant will deliver these results:

• Design and document of a hardware topology, architecture, and configuration plan

• Installation and configuration of the IBM Cognos TM1 software
