Steve Thomas
Steve is a Principal Consultant at BMC Software, supporting customers across the UK, Northern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He has been involved with Mainframes since 1981, started working as a DBA in 1985 and has specialized in DB2 since 1989 when the Insurance Company he was working at selected DB2 to be their primary relational database. He started working as a Consultant for PLATINUM Technology in 1994 and moved to BMC Software in 1999.
Steve has presented on a wide range of topics at events across the UK and in Europe and is a past member of the IDUG EMEA DB2 Expert Users Panel. He has been a member of the European IDUG CPC since 2006 and has helped organize the UK DB2 User Group for almost 10 years.
