Vijay Sitaram
Vijay started working on DB2 since the V5 days. The first time he heard of DB2 was back in college (BITS, Pilani - link resides outside of ibm.com) where IBM trained students and provided fully equipped labs. It was that training and foundation in early stages which lead to his career in DB2 on LUW. Since then, he has enjoyed working with DB2 mainly on AIX platform with wide range of systems from OLTP, ODS and now currently on EDW. Over the course of years, he gained experience in working with InfoSphere Warehouse & Datastage ETL tool.
He has presented in DB2 conferences (IDUG and IBM IOD - link resides outside of ibm.com) and currently an active member of IDUG 2009 North America - Conference Planning Committee.
Participates in local user group and special interests in DB2 includes Storage Management and Optimizer.
