Nominate an Information Champion
The nomination period is currently open, and anyone in the Information Management community is eligible to nominate a potential Information Champion. We are inviting nominations for the 2010 Information Champion class, which will cover all the Information Management segments:
- Cognos
- Data Management
- Enterprise Content Management
- InfoSphere
Current IBM employees are not eligible to be nominated, but they can nominate worthy community members. The nomination period for the 2010 Information Champion class is open through January 31, 2010.
At the close of the nomination period, a panel of IBM employees will evaluate each nominee's contributions over the past 12 to 18 months. The panel will consider the community impact, expertise and overall contributions of the nominees. IBM will judge nominees both on the quality of contributions and the level of participation across a wide variety of community activities. For example, Information Champions may have distinguished themselves as:
- forum moderators and contributors
- bloggers
- community Web site operators
- leaders of product user groups
- written contributors, such as authors of developerWorks articles, Redbooks and technical books
- speakers at events and conferences
