The Red Bend Software Management Center is a modular, standard's based, backend system. It performs all analysis and decision functions required to generate new revenue streams by identifying the consumer's software preferences and delivering software applications and updates over-the-air (OTA). The Red Bend Software Management Center increases the adoption rate of new services and the overall satisfaction of existing subscribers.
The Red Bend Software Management Center effectively and efficiently manages installation, removal, activation and deactivation of software components for mobile applications. It uses OMA DM protocol for Software Component Management Object (SCOMO) and for device firmware using the Firmware Update Management Object (FUMO) to ensure that consumers receive the full benefits of the latest services, trendiest applications, most advanced features and optimized device performance.
The Red Bend Software Management Center manages and executes the workflow logic of software management. A key enabler for providing revenue-generating services, the Red Bend Software Management Center manages a repository of components, application updates and firmware updates received from software owners. It also queries devices for application and software component inventories.
The Red Bend Software Management Center analyzes inventories, application and software component versions, software dependencies and usage patterns.
