IT SIMPLIFICATION:

Data Aging is included via a a new function, MOD_DATE, to modify date fields on data sets by setting, incrementing or decrementing day, month or year values for dates stored in any number of formats. This applies to batch REXX and FASTREXX procedures and functions that support them. Most typically it is used in a copy process.

A new primary command, SQLID, is added to File Manager/DB2. The addition of the SQLID primary command enables an authorized File Manager/DB2 user to dynamically change the current SQLID value from any File Manager/DB2 processing panel.
This is of most benefit to DB2 System Administrators who typically run with DB2 SYSADM authority and issue SQL statements that require the current SQLID to be set to different DB2 authids.
