 Workstation APL2 Version 2 Service Level 13 The IBM APL Products and Services group is pleased to announce Service Level 13 for Workstation APL2 for Multiplatforms Version 2.0. This new service level is available for all Workstation APL2 platforms including AIX, Linux, Sun Solaris, and Windows. Along with fixes for customer reported problems, Service Level 13 contains the following enhancements: All platforms: - Execute controlled system function returns full stack information.
- Function line length limit increased to 32767.
- New ROUNDC external function provides high performance commercial rounding.
- Associated Processor 15 supports arbitrary arrays and monitoring variable changes.
- Improved performance accessing linefeed delimited files with AP 210.
Windows: - Copy To... choice on Log pull-down menu
- Close Popups toolbar button
- Control+Enter executes current line and displays result in separate window
- Custom toolbar buttons can execute APL expressions
- Entry of Unicode characters using the numeric keypad
- Find dialog input fields are wider
- Popup documentation for APL characters on Assist toolbar
- Trace and Stop all labels choices on Breakpoints pull-down menu
- New STATE RESIZING property in AP 145
- APL2LM and WSCOMP support comparing arrays containing Unicode data
