- Kurt Solarte, Certified Managing Consultant, IBM Rational Software
Kurt assists clients in Australia and New Zealand with transformation projects that involve Agile development and collaborative ALM.
He spent seven years with IBM Global Business Services as a Certified Managing Consultant and Senior Business Analyst, specialising in Agile delivery of eCommerce, web portal and business analytics projects. Kurt also worked as an IT specialist and software test engineer for IBM WebSphere and Rational.
Kurt holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University, and an MBA in Marketing from the Terry School of Business at the University of Georgia.
Kurt has two patents pending with the US Patent and Trademark Office. His work has been published by IBM Technical Publishing and he is a regular speaker at industry conferences such as SDC Australia, BAWorld Australia, Agile Australia and IBM Innovate.
- Andrew Bentley, IT Architect, IBM Rational Software
As a speciality architect for IBM Rational Software, Andrew works closely with customers to ensure the Rational Software portfolio meets their business objectives. His key areas of expertise include enterprise architecture and mobile application development.
Before he joined the Rational Software group, Andrew was a Chief Architect in IBM’s Global Technology Services business and created strategic plans and technical roadmaps for customers. Andrew is responsible for educating IBM staff on architecture methods. He also contributes to professional certification review boards.
- John MacLeod, Consulting IT Architect, IBM Rational Software
John MacLeod is a Consulting IT Architect for IBM Australia responsible for assisting clients to deliver productivity improvements across the application lifecycle. He specialises in Requirements Management, Enterprise Architecture and Portfolio Management.
He was previously Technical Director with both Ingres and Informix in Australia and most recently at Telelogic until its acquisition by IBM. John has extensive background in the IT industry on a range of dsiciplines having worked with many clients over the years helping them refine their practices. He is a frequent speaker at industry events.
- Annie Lin, Software Specialist, IBM Rational Software
Annie is a Brand Specialist with IBM Rational software in Sydney Australia. Over the past 3 years she has focused on assisting organisations improve their Quality Management practice through Automation and Continuous Integration. Prior to her current role, Annie spent 3 years with Rational Technical support assisting customers with their Rational product usage and problem resolution and specialised in testing and architecture management products. This humbling experience enables her to truly appreciate the importance and impact of software quality to an organisation and their clients. Annie worked as a web application developer before joining IBM. She is a certified Kepner Tregoe Coach and Certified Rational Functional Tester, leader and organiser of Sydney Rational User group.
- Mudassar Shah, Enterprise Architect, IBM Rational Software
Dusa Shah is a certified Enterprise Architect working for IBM software group, focusing on Enterprise Architecture (EA), Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) and Requirements Definition and Management (RDM) across the Software Delivery Lifecycle (SDLC). Mudassar has industry experience having worked in United States, Europe & Asia Pacific working with customers from Retail, Manufacturing, Energy & Utilities, Finance and Telecommunication sectors.
- Luke Clark, Virtualised Testing Specialist, IBM Rational Software
Luke is the Green Hat specialist in AP coming from the recent Green Hat acquisition. He brings with him 12 years’ experience in systems integration and SOA testing on multi-vendor platforms and an in-depth knowledge of the Green Hat technology.
- Denice Wong, Senior IT Specialist, IBM Rational Software
Denice Wong is a senior IT Specialist with IBM Rational Software in Australia. She has over 10 years experience in the I.T. industry, working as technical consultant in software testing and software configuration management area. She focused on application lifecycle management solution in the past 3 years andis a Certified ScrumMaster. Denice has worked in IBM Hong Kong for more than 5 years before she relocate to Australia. She assisted a lot of customers in Australia and Hong Kong to define software testing and configuration management process with IBM Rational software tools such as Rational Quality Manager, Rational Requirement Composer, Rational Team Concert, Rational Functional Tester, Rational Performance Tester, Rational Service Tester, Rational AppScan, Rational ClearCase, Rational ClearQuest, Rational Tester Manager and Rational Robot.
- Alan Kan, Software Technical Lead, IBM Rational Software
Alan is IBM Rational Software's technical leader in New Zealand. He promotes software delivery best practices and helps organisations to enhance their software delivery processes. He has 10 years of experience in various roles in the software development process including developer, analyst, architect, test manager and project manager. Alan is an Australasia regional mentor for Rational Team Concert, IBM's leading agile project delivery tool. Alan holds a Master's in information systems from the University of Auckland, is a certified Project Management Professional, and is Rational Unified Process and Rational System Architect certified.
- Arthur Proestakis, Senior IT Architect, IBM Global Business Services
Arthur works for IBM Global Business Services and is a member of the Architecture Practice in Melbourne, Australia. He is an IBM and Open Group Master Certified IT Architect. Arthur joined IBM in 2006 after working in a variety of industries including public transport, telecommunications and product R&D as well as operating his own software development company serving the CRM requirements of the fitness industry in more than 20 countries.
At IBM, Arthur has lead architecture teams on complex system integration engagements in the telecommunications and insurance industries. Arthur has a strong foundation in software engineering and is an agile methods exponent.
In 2011 Arthur developed the tools solution architecture for the NBN Co OSS program and assisted with deployment and adoption of the tools across the program.
