Terms and Conditions for IBM's win an Apple iPad 64GB Competition at Business Analytics Forum

  1. Information on how to enter this Promotion and prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions of entry (Terms). Entry into the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms.
  2. The Promoter is IBM Australia Limited, Level 10, 601 Pacific Highway, St Leonards, Sydney, NSW, 2065 (Promoter).
  3. The Promotion will be open from 9.00am Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST) on 10th November 2010 and will conclude at 5.00pm AEST on 17th November 2010 (Promotion Period).
  4. Entry is open to Australian residents 18 years and older and who are delegates at the Business Analytics Forum 2010 event held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre, Gold Coast Highway, Broadbeach, QLD on 3rd - 5th November 2010 (Conference), (Eligible Entrants).
  5. Employees, contractors and officers of the Promoter and companies associated with this Promotion, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
  6. To enter the Promotion, Eligible Entrants must during the Promotion Period complete and submit a Promotion entry form to representatives of the Promoter at the Conference including providing their full name, organisation, position, organisation address, telephone and email contact details and complete the entry survey (Eligible Entry).
  7. Incomplete, illegible and late entry forms are invalid.
  8. There is a limit of one entry per Eligible Entrant to the Promotion.
  9. A manual draw will take place at 4.00pm AEST on 8th November 2010 at the IBM Centre, 601 Pacific Highway, St Leonards, NSW, 2065 (Draw). The Draw will be conducted by a representative of the Promoter.
  10. The first Eligible Entry randomly selected will win the prize.
  11. The prize is an Apple iPad 64GB valued at $879 (including GST) (RRP) (Prize).
  12. The winner will be notified by telephone and email within 2 days of the draw. The winner will also be announced on ibm.com/events/au/announcements within 5 days of the draw.
  13. If, despite the Promoter's reasonable efforts, the Promoter cannot contact the winner or the Prize is not claimed by 8 February 2011, the Promoter will conduct a manual re-draw of the remaining Eligible Entries. The re-draw winner will be contacted by telephone and email within 2 days of the re-draw.
  14. The Prize is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. In the event that the Promoter is unable to supply the Prize, the Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative prize of similar monetary value. All tax liabilities and other costs associated with or arising from winning or using the Prize are the responsibility of the Prize winner.
  15. Any Eligible Entrant who, in the opinion of the Promoter, does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible to win.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete entries or entries that do not comply with these Terms.
  17. The Promoter's decisions in relation to any aspect of the Promotion are final and binding on each person who enters and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter may change or withdraw this offer at any time without prior notification.
  18. The Promoter accepts no responsibilities for late entries or entries not received for any reason. All entries become the property of the Promoter. All entries will be entered into a database and the Promoter may use entrants' names and addresses for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes unless otherwise advised by the Eligible Entrant by calling IBM on 132 426 or via the Entry Form. Entrants can request access to or correction of their details by contacting the Promoter on 132 426.
