ENOVIA SmarTeam CATIA Web Integration (CWI) is enhanced to allow CATIA users to remotely access CATIA data stored in ENOVIA SmarTeam. ENOVIA SmarTeam V5.19 supports access to data storage in vaults over an HTTPs protocol for better capacity and ability to support additional concurrent users. This extended deployment of SmarTeam systems enables organizations to collaborate faster and more efficiently, gaining better performance, and easier access to data which is stored across this extended deployment. Relying on this platform, ENOVIA SmarTeam design collaboration over the Web promotes enhanced remote CATIA data management without having to be limited by distributed data storage considerations.

ENOVIA SmarTeam V5.19 strengthens simplified deployment, packaging, and usability to promote easy PLM adoption. Its expanded out-of-the-box Express offering presents SmarTeam Design Express and SmarTeam Engineering Express on a unified platform, together with SmarTeam core products, and makes PLM easier than ever to launch and extend. ENOVIA SmarTeam's "start small, grow as you go" expanded Express offerings deliver quick-start, scalable core design, and engineering collaboration to drive best-practice deployment.
In this release, Engineering and Design Express offerings are unified to one platform with SmarTeam core products. Organizations can seamlessly move from design to engineering PLM needs, and easily enrich their implementation with the ability to address an end-to-end concept-to-manufacturing business process with a low total cost of ownership.
ENOVIA SmarTeam's modular, out-of-the-box Express offering can be used as a quick-start PLM implementation, or to extend an existing SmarTeam deployment. SmarTeam core capabilities can also be added on top of an existing Express deployment.
In addition to the enhancements to the Express offering, V5.19 delivers new options for installation procedures. SmarTeam installation now includes user roles that are aligned with the SmarTeam role-based packaging approach. Moreover, additional SmarTeam components can now be installed using a silent installation program to enable faster and easier deployment.
Improve design collaboration across the supply chain
The increased functionality of ENOVIA SmarTeam V5.19 enhances design collaboration and improves management of multiple CATIA environments. Offering seamless management of CATIA data originated in different CATIA versions, ENOVIA SmarTeam V5.19 design collaboration incorporates CATIA data management across the supply chain, and allows suppliers to work with multiple OEMs, each using a different CATIA environment. Suppliers can provide OEMs with CATIA data according to OEM standards. These CATIA enhancements improve usability and reduce costs and errors, thereby enabling faster work and improved accuracy.
V5.19 enhances multi-CAD capabilities by exposing design data to engineering, thereby strengthening the relationship between SmarTeam collaborative engineering and CAD integrations. With this enhancement, users can now open CAD documents from a specification item.
V5.19 Design Collaboration improves performance, and enhances functionality and usability. The design releases of large assemblies can be executed as seamless separate jobs to ensure data integrity.
SmarTeam CATIA integration enhances management for CATIA drawings by improving the text mapping into title blocks, enabling easy import of CATIA legacy data.

V5.19 also marks the addition of an expanded online collaboration solution, ENOVIA 3DLive, enabling visual 3D product data management. ENOVIA 3DLive provides enterprise customers with real-time business insight and facilitates better decision making throughout the product lifecycle, providing an unmatched solution for collaboration that is both lifelike and simultaneous.
Whereas V5R18 delivered the first level of ENOVIA 3DLive support for highly visual searching, navigating, and collaborating around CATIA-based product information, V5.19 now has integration to engineering functionality and enhanced design functionality. Engineering functionality includes bill of material (BOM) navigation and visualization; enhanced design functionality includes in-context design and FT&A (Functional, Tolerance and Annotation). The addition of multi-CAD capabilities offers larger benefits for organizations and opens the door for the highest level of 3D collaboration.
Overall, ENOVIA SmarTeam V5.19 continues to provide powerful enhancements for leveraging PLM excellence by delivering rapid, affordable, and flexible collaborative offerings to its users.
