Tracks
Financial and Operational Performance Management
This track demonstrates how organizations can establish a dynamic, reliable performance management system to help anticipate performance gaps, assess alternatives and enable effective decision making. Learn how finance teams are using IBM Business Analytics solutions to improve their performance reporting and scorecarding, planning, analysis and forecasting, profitability modeling and optimization. Hear from leading companies and IBM subject matter experts how to apply advanced technology and best practices to drive stronger business insight through analytics.
Sales Performance Management
Sales performance management (SPM) and incentive compensation management (ICM) solutions deliver insight for finance, sales, human resources, and IT line-of-business users. This track will showcase the technology that can help you streamline your SPM/ICM processes to increase operational efficiencies, reduce risk, administer compensation plans, drive desired sales behaviors, and align sales strategy with sales compensation programs. In addition, thought leaders, partners and customers will share informative insights about the constantly changing SPM/ICM market.
Financial Governance and Disclosure Management
Discover how IBM disclosure management solutions can automate manual processes – from collecting data via emails from across the enterprise, to time-consuming data updates of numerous reports, to merging spreadsheets and narratives together for publishing. These sessions will also explore new ways to converge business intelligence (BI) data with corporate performance management (CPM) reports and narrative for faster, more accurate analysis. Learn how integrated IBM performance management solutions enable you to accelerate the financial close and consolidation processes while ensuring timely and accurate regulatory filings, global statutory and tax reports, and compliance with global XBRL filing requirements.
Risk Management
This track demonstrates how the combined risk management capabilities of IBM Algorithmics and IBM OpenPages solutions can help your company achieve profitable growth and address the increasing demands for regulatory compliance in today’s volatile and complex marketplace. You’ll learn from risk and compliance professionals how to increase return on capital by making risk–informed decisions on capital allocation while qualifying for regulatory incentives under Dodd–Frank, Basel II, Basel III and Solvency II, and assuring senior management that top–line and bottom–line performance goals are being met, legal requirements are adhered to and brand equity is protected.
- Sell–side Risk Management
Sell–side institutions – those involved in the selling of financial instruments, including banks and financial market firms – face evolving global markets and a more stringent regulatory landscape. Sessions in this track will draw on experience with clients from around the world in achieving an integrated risk management environment that facilitates strategic planning and regulatory compliance while providing greater returns through risk–aware decisions, comprehensive counterparty management and real–time pricing.
- Buy–side Risk Management
Buy–side institutions – those involved in the purchase of financial instruments for clients or for their own accounts, including insurers, pension funds, asset managers, hedge funds, wealth managers and asset services – are now more interconnected than ever. Two key factors have combined to bring this about – the tide of new regulation and the low–yield market environment. Sessions in this track will focus on how to use IBM risk analytics to manage higher risk investments, achieve regulatory readiness, provide greater transparency and enable more risk–aware decisions.
- Cross–industry Risk Management
As corporate risk management and compliance strategies continue to mature, organizations that adopt tightly integrated risk management strategies can greatly increase their business performance while reducing losses and protecting investors and the corporate brand. In this track, attendees will learn how organizations can gain a holistic view of risk and embed risk management and governance into the corporate culture, making business processes more effective while providing senior management with the assurance that top–line and bottom–line performance goals are being met, legal requirements are being adhered to, and brand equity is protected.
- Operational Risk Management
Managing the multitude of risks that can affect business performance is one of the most significant challenges facing global organizations today. Uncertain times and a volatile economic climate continue to add to the internal and external challenges that threaten corporate well–being. These challenges include internal and external fraud, employee errors, damage to physical assets by natural or man–made causes, systems failures, and more. Sessions in this track will demonstrate how operational risk management software arms decision makers with tools to fully understand and interpret valuable business data pertaining to internal systems and processes and other key metrics that affect organizational value and growth.
