Succeeding in analytics requires more than technical skills. The Analytics Talent Initiative is an online questionnaire that enables college and university students to discover personality traits, values and cognitive abilities which could make them a good fit for analytics careers. This innovative tool reveals insights that can help:
Students who complete the assessment will receive a personal report listing their strengths and narrative feedback on how to develop competencies that IBM research has identified as indicative of "top performers."
Each participating college and university will receive end-of-semester reports showing their students' aggregate scores. These reports will help institutions better understand how their curricula have prepared students for careers in Big Data and Analytics so that they can provide the most relevant courses.
