The Performance Leaders Program offers you a variety of activities to choose from. If your organization has a policy about not speaking publicly or to the press, don't worry! We have many opportunities that don't have any public exposure. You decide what activities work best for you to pursue, and we'll match you to them. There's no pressure. You participate at the level you are most comfortable with. We are committed to your satisfaction and we focus on making sure you get value from your participation.


We offer opportunities to be featured in print or online advertisement highlighting your organization's use of IBM solutions. Sample publications include: Wall Street Journal, Computerworld, CFO Magazine, New York Times. Benefits include:


There are different types of technology and business award opportunities throughout the year. We will work with you to target the most appropriate award, and help you to write your submission to optimize your chance at winning. The benefit? Personal and Industry recognition of accomplishments.

Beta program

If you are interested in previewing and testing out the latest product, the beta program will give you insight into our latest technology advancements. If you participate in testing, we ask clients to provide feedback and serve as a reference to the technology they tested. Benefits include:

Case study

Share your story in the form of a case study. We will work with you to prepare and distribute a case study that outlines the business success achieved with IBM business analytics. You will have the opportunity to review the success story for accuracy and clarity. All content in the story will be jointly agreed upon. Read a few Cognos case studies. Benefits include:

Host a site visit

Demonstrate your success first hand by hosting a visit from a prospect on site and share your learnings. Site visits will be coordinated by client’s account rep. During the site visit, you'll be able to network and meet other customers.

Industry analyst interviews

Share your expertise with industry experts in the analyst community by participating in calls, or face to face meetings with industry analyst. The interviews are primarily for research purposes only. Interviews are be held under NDA. For each meeting, an IBM representative will be present to guide the interview. You can use time to ask industry analysts questions of interest to you.

Media interviews

Gain public exposure by participating in interviews with top-tier media. You will always be given advance notice of all interviews and IBM provides comprehensive briefing guides in advance for all opportunities. Interviews are typically 15-30 minutes in length. Benefits include:

Press releases

Formally announce your partnership and success with IBM through a press release. You will have the opportunity to review the release for accuracy and clarity. All content in the release will be jointly agreed upon. Benefits include:

Speaking opportunities

We often have great events where you can share your story though a speaking opportunity either via a live event or webinar. In some instances, travel and lodging expenses incurred by the client will be covered by IBM. Benefits include:

Sales reference

Help another customer out by agreeing to participate in calls with IBM clients or potential clients to promote client’s successful use of software. You will be able to network and meet other customers.

Video testimonial

Tell your story interactively through a videotaped interview that will be professionally finished and posted to various public sites, including, YouTube and other social media sites.
