The IBM Hursley laboratory, based at Hursley near the historic city of Winchester, is one of IBM's leading software development laboratories. Employing nearly 2500 people, it is responsible for several of IBM's strategic product development activities. Hursley products, such as WebSphere, CICS, MQSeries, The Java Technology Centre, Enterprise Java Beans, Pervasive computing, Storage systems and services provide a powerful combination that enable the end-to-end integration of business processes and are central to e-business.

Our culture is young, vibrant, friendly and informal. The lab is situated in 100 acres of beautiful Hampshire countryside, close to the nightlife of Southampton and Winchester and only 1 hour by train from London. In addition to the cutting edge research and development and educational resources Hursley offers, the campus includes extensive social, recreational and sports facilities for the 2,500 strong Hursley team.
