IBM CICS Performance Analyzer for OS/390 (CICS PA) analyzes the SMF
records created by the CICS Monitoring Facility (CMF) to produce a wide
range of reports and extracts that will help you tune and manage your
CICS systems.

IBM CICS Performance Analyzer for OS/390® operates on any hardware
supporting CICS/ESA® Version 4.1 (5655-018) and CICS Transaction Server
for OS/390 Version 1 (5655-147).
Software Requirements
IBM CICS Performance Analyzer for OS/390 operates with the following CICS
versions and requires SMP/E Version 1 (5668-949) for installation and
maintenance:

CICS Transaction Server for OS/390 Version 1, all releases (5655-147)

Security, Auditability, and Control
IBM CICS Performance Analyzer for OS/390 uses the security and
auditability features of the supported CICS and/or OS/390 systems.
The customer is responsible for evaluation, selection, and implementation
of security features, administrative procedures, and appropriate controls
in application systems and communication facilities.
Ordering Information
IBM CICS Performance Analyzer for OS/390 is an IPLA product with a single
charge based on installations.
The product also has a SW Subscription and Support orderable, required in
order to provide the same level of support as is delivered with standard
IBM S/390® ICA offerings, including voice defect support, together with
code updates. It has a single annual charge which, if ordering, must be
purchased in the same quantity as IBM CICS Performance Analyzer for
OS/390.

Expedite shipments will be processed to receive 72-hour delivery from the

Customized Offerings
IBM CICS Performance Analyzer for OS/390 is shipped via Customized
Offerings (CBPDO, ServerPac, Systempac®). Publications will be shipped
via the Stand-alone product.
Terms and Conditions
Licensing:
IBM International Program License Agreement. PoEs are required for
all authorized use.
These products are licensed under the IBM Program License Agreement
(IPLA), and the associated Agreement for Acquisition of Support, and the
Addendum for Support (Z125-6435) which provides for support with ongoing
access to releases and versions of the program. These programs have a
one-time license charge for use of the program and an ongoing recurring
charge for the enhanced support that includes telephone assistance (voice
support for defects during normal business hours) as well as access to
updates, releases, and versions of the program as long as support is in
effect. S/390 IBM Operational Support Services Support Line is an
option for those customers who desire added services.
