The terms and conditions of IBM® InfoSphere® Information Server V8.7 are revised. If you have entitlements to InfoSphere Business Glossary, InfoSphere Business Glossary Workgroup Edition, InfoSphere Metadata Workbench, or InfoSphere Metadata Workbench Workgroup Edition, you can now use IBM InfoSphere DataStage® to import metadata. However, you are restricted from running jobs when using IBM InfoSphere DataStage with these programs. All other information in the original announcements remains unchanged.

If you purchased only InfoSphere Business Glossary or only InfoSphere Metadata Workbench, you need a connectivity component for metadata import that is currently provided only with InfoSphere DataStage . To enable you to have access to the connectivity component, the licenses of InfoSphere Business Glossary and InfoSphere Metadata Workbench are being upgraded. This means that you can now install the connectivity component of InfoSphere DataStage but you cannot use InfoSphere DataStage for its primary purpose, which is for extract, transform, load (ETL) development and deployment.
