Effective July 16, 2012, IBM® will withdraw from marketing the part number from the following program, licensed under the IBM International Program License Agreement:

1 CICS TG Desktop Edition, first announced in Software Announcement 210-275, dated October 05, 2010, provides a simple path forward for CICS Universal Client customers looking to maintain support for their desktop applications with the latest operating systems and compilers, and includes all the function of CICS Universal Client V7.0. Furthermore, CICS TG Desktop Edition provides CICS connectivity for Java™ and .NET applications. For JEE and multi-user CICS connectivity, CICS TG for z/OS® or CICS TG for Multiplatforms is required.
