Replacement products
There are no replacement products.
IBM Lotus Sametime Enterprise Meeting Server is a stand alone product that supports load balancing and failover support for Sametime Classic Meetings as well as Sametime 8.0 and earlier releases. It is not itself a meetings offering. This load balancing and failover functionality is now included natively in the IBM Sametime 8.5 meetings infrastructure and no longer needs this add-on product.
Customers on active maintenance of IBM Sametime Standard or IBM Sametime Advanced can migrate to IBM Sametime release 8.5 which does not require Enterprise Meeting Server for load balancing and failover support for multiple IBM Sametime Meetings servers.
