Abstract

Effective December 8, 2008, IBM will withdraw from marketing the following programs licensed under the IBM International Program License Agreement:

On or after the effective date of withdrawal, you can no longer order these products directly from IBM or an IBM Distributor.

Replacement program information

• 5655-K53, IMS High Performance Pointer Checker for z/OS, V2.2 is replaced by 5655-U09, IMS High Performance Pointer Checker for z/OS, V3.1 announced in Software Announcement208-235, dated September 09, 2008 ,dated September 9, 2008.
• 5655-I42, IMS Library Integrity Utilities for z/OS, V1.1 is replaced by 5655-U08, IMS Library Integrity Utilities for z/OS, V2.1 announced in Software Announcement208-235, dated September 09, 2008 , dated September 9, 2008.
• 5655-F45, IMS MFS Reversal Utilities for z/OS, V1.1 is replaced by 5655-U08, IMS Library Integrity Utilities for z/OS, V2.1 announced in Software Announcement208-235, dated September 09, 2008 , dated September 9, 2008.

Note: You should contact your IBM representative for migrating to IMS Library Integrity Utilities for z/OS, V2.1 and its Subscription and Support (5655-K65) if you:

• Purchased IMS MFS Reversal Utilities for z/OS (5655-F45) and its Subscription and Support (5655-F44)
• Are current with the subscription

For new orders, the customer-requested arrival date (CRAD) can be no later than December 8, 2008, the effective date of withdrawal or end of life date (EOD).

Technical support continues to be available. The end of support for these products will be announced a minimum of 12 months before the termination.
