Effective on the dates indicated below, IBM will withdraw support for the following programs licensed under the IBM International Program License Agreement:

Effective April 20, 2007, IBM will withdraw from marketing all Passport Advantage® part numbers and AAS product order and Software Maintenance Renewal features from the current program release licensed under the IBM International Program License Agreement. Refer to the Description section for details.
Customers with anniversaries for service and support renewal scheduled to occur between April 20, 2007, and April 25, 2008, and who wish to extend their support beyond the anniversary, should contact their IBM representative or IBM Business Partner immediately.
Replacement product information: There are no direct replacement products.
Depending on customer requirements, the IBM General Parallel File System (GPFS), certain functions of the IBM Tivoli® Storage Manager, and selected IBM N series products are possible replacement products for select functions and features provided by the IBM TotalStorage SAN File System. Contact your IBM representative or IBM Business Partner for further information.
Statement of general direction
IBM General Parallel File System (GPFS) does not presently support Microsoft Windows or Sun Solaris operating systems, two environments supported by the IBM TotalStorage SAN File System. It is IBM's intent to add support for these two operating systems in GPFS.
All statements regarding IBM's plans, directions, and intent are subject to change or withdrawal
without notice, and represent goals and objectives only. Availability, prices, ordering
information, and terms and conditions will be provided when GPFS is announced.
