Effective March 6, 2012, IBM Proventia Network Security Controller will replace existing support and maintenance part numbers for years four and five beyond the end of marketing date as shown in the table below.

The new replacement part number will provide coverage from July 1, 2015, to June 30, 2017. For additional information, refer to Service Withdrawal 912-019, dated March 06, 2012.

In addition, information collected through the Service Agent is made available to IBM service support representatives when they help answer your questions or diagnose problems. Installation and use of IBM Electronic Service Agent for problem reporting enables IBM to provide better support and service for your IBM server.
