IBM® Implementation Services for storage software - SAN fabric components helps you implement SAN fabric components, such as IBM, Cisco, and Brocade switches and routers. These components will allow you to more quickly realize the benefits of a Storage Area Network (SAN), such as simplified storage management, scalability, flexibility, increased application availability, and improved data access. An on-site IBM specialist will:
- Coordinate a planning session
- Implement the SAN fabric components
- Configure the SAN fabric components
- Perform functionality testing
- Provide basic skills instructions for up to two of your designated technical personnel on the key aspects of the SAN fabric components implementation and features

IBM Implementation Services for SAN fabric components, announced in Services Announcement 603-006, dated March 04, 2003, has been renamed to IBM Storage and Data Product Services - IBM Implementation Services for storage software - SAN fabric components. There are no changes to the announced service functionality.
