Overview

Many large organizations have branch offices, demilitarized zones (DMZ), and other networks that contain 750 or fewer network assets. Such assets must be scanned, but purchasing an enterprise-scaled vulnerability scanner can be prohibitive and scanning remotely may not work. For these circumstances, organizations require a less-expensive alternative.

The traditional vulnerability audit market requires a portable scanner that can easily be carried in a briefcase to a site, hooked into the network, and used to assess the assets on your network. The lower-cost Enterprise Scanner (ES) 750 offers the portability to handle these business cases.

This smaller appliance will run discovery scans only marginally slower than the ES 1500 and is designed to perform assessment scans that will complete scanning up to 2000 hosts in an 8-hour time period with all the checks enabled.

Other than slower scan speed, the ES 750 has all of the same features as the ES 1500.
