Value proposition

Customers can receive a no-charge processor book when they acquire one processor book with a specified number of processor activations.

The offer

For a limited time only, if you acquire a selected eligible new IBM® Power Systems™ server configuration that includes:

  • a defined number and type of POWER7® Processor Books, and
  • a defined minimum number of Processor Activations,

you can receive one out of every two configured POWER7 Processor Books at no charge, as follows:

Start and/or end dates

Orders must be received by IBM on or before June 22, 2012.

Additional information/conditions

IBM maintenance charges will apply to the no-charge Processor Books upon completion of the warranty period.

In order to ensure accurate installation records for service and future maintenance, eligible new IBM Power Systems 770/780/795 server configurations acquired under the terms of this promotion will require an update to IBM's installation records after the server is installed. Nick Vlamis (ngvlamis@us.ibm.com), Power Systems Sales Manager, IBM North America, is responsible for following up with your IBM sales representative to ensure these updates have been made.

In Canada, you are responsible for all applicable taxes such as Goods and Services Tax (GST), Harmonized Sales Tax (HST), Provincial Sales Tax (PST), and Quebec Sales Tax (QST).
